The 1003 was a replacement machine for the 1002 and was built from 1981 through 1993.  It will stack both 14"x18" & 16"x18" bales from 34"-39" in length in a "3-wide" configuration.  Capacity is from 63-84 bales depending upon your baler's chamber size.  These machines were built as a small, entry level machine and have no self-contained hydraulics, requiring your tractor to have a remote hydraulic setup.  Similar to other 1000-series machines, they have a mechanically driven bale loader pickup chain & 1st table, rope winch to raise the bale loader, and no push-off feet.  They do however incorporate a manually activated tie system.  Provided you have the hydraulic setup, a 35+ HP tractor with a 540 PTO can be used to run the machine.  Most major parts are available for these machines through our parts department.  Please give us a call if you are interested in a 1003.
