The 1038 model was built by New Holland from 1978 through the 1990's.  A redesign of the 1034, they are a good wagon and are probably your best option if looking for a machine with the single bale unloading function.  Designed to stack 14"x18" & 16"x 18" 34"-42" bales in the "3-wide" pattern, capacity is anywhere from 84-105 bales.  We have sold and serviced a number of these machines over the years, but they are somewhat hard to find, which can be attributed to their low production run.  Although similar to it's sister machine the 1037, due to their different hydraulic systems, 2nd table, load rack, and sliding load rack setup, supplying parts can be an issue, though we do have many of the standard parts readily available.  If you feel that the 1038 is a good option for your farm, give us a call and we can help get one in your yard.
