The 1044 model from New Holland was built from 1968 through 1971.  It was built for stacking small bales 14"x18" & 16"x18" 34"-38" in length in the "3-wide" configuration.  Capacity of the wagon is from 95-119 bales, depending upon your baler's chamber size.  Being one of the early pull-types it has some design issues that were later corrected and improved in the 1033 model to help make a better stack.  In addition, they are also a fairly large and heavy machine, requiring a 60+ HP tractor with a 540 PTO.  These machines have no provision for making an automatic tie, so the operator must do it by hand.  The 1044 can be a good option for producers with a smaller acreage, who needs to stack shorter bales.  Our parts department can help you with some pieces to these machines, but some items are getting harder to find.  Call us today if you are interested in purchasing a 1044.
